The system is asking for an activation code


When a new tag is scanned on the payment system, it will ask you to enter your activation code. The activation code is unique to your account and will link the scanned tag to your account. Therefore, it is important that you do not share this code with others, as their tag would then also be linked to your account.

Where do I find my activation code?

Either you have been provided with a code upon moving in by your janitor or administrator, or you need to retrieve it yourself within E-vaskeri.

I am scanning the key I have always used?

We sometimes experience that some users are wondering why they are asked to enter the activation code when they haven't received a new tag. In many cases, through our conversation with the user, we find out that the person has a keychain with the tag attached. The payment system can read various types of tags, so it may pick up a different tag than the one you use for laundry. If this happens the system recognizes a new tag, and will ask for activation.
