I have moved internally within the housing department – what should I do with my tag and E-vaskeri?

Search

If you are about to move internally within your housing department, in some places you can continue as usual, while in others you will need a new tag and activation code. We’re here to help you figure out what steps you need to take.

For you as a user of a cash laundry (transfer on E-vaskeri)

If you’ve moved into a new apartment but are still using the same laundry room, you can continue using the same laundry tag and the same E-vaskeri account. You can contact customer service to have your address updated in the app, as this must be done manually.

If, however, the property has requested that you return your laundry tag, you can contact customer service to have your user number updated manually or create a new account. Please note that your balance will not be refunded automatically.

If you’ve already handed in your laundry tag and notice that a new resident is using your account, you need to close your E-vaskeri account. After that, you can create a new account and order a new activation code or laundry tag. Please note that your balance will not be refunded automatically.

For you as a user of a credit laundry (payment on rent)

If you are using a credit laundry, you must always create a new user on E-vaskeri when moving internally.
You will need to have received a new activation code from your landlord or administrator.
You may be required to return your old laundry tag when moving out and receive a new one for your new apartment.

Your previous account will only be closed once the administrator has settled your consumption.
If you need us to provide your activation code, you must have your housing number ready — otherwise, we will not be able to give it to you.
Please note that the new account must be added to the system; if it hasn’t been added yet, you’ll need to contact your administrator.
