Symbols for washing
The number within the bowl with water shows the water temperature you should use. A diagonal line and two horizontal lines within a square means the item should be drying in shade | Two vertical lines means the item should drip dry | A diagonal line and two vertical lines means the item should drip dry in shade |
Dry cleaning symbols
A circle with a letter inside is a guide for your dry cleaner. This tells them which chemical to use to get your item clean | A circle with a letter with a line underneath tells your dry cleaner to use sensitive chemicals | A circle with an X on top means the item shouldn't be dry cleaned |
Bleach symbols
A white triangle means all types of bleach are permitted | A triangle with two diagonal lines within means all types of bleach are permitted - except anything containing chlorine | A triangle with an X over means you should refrain from using bleach |
Iron symbols
One dot inside the iron means the temperature of the iron shouldn't surpass 110 degrees.
