Soap dosing – avoid white streaks on clothes

Search

Have you experienced white streaks on your clothes after washing them? These white streaks can be really annoying, so here are some simple ways to avoid them.

The white streaks usually come from washing powder. The streaks occur when the detergent is not properly dissolved. The streaks are soap residues that have not been rinsed off the clothes. They can also be due to washing at low temperatures with a detergent that is not suitable for this and therefore does not dissolve properly.

There are a few different things you can do to avoid the white streaks:

✓ Avoid overloading the washing machine

✓ Use liquid detergents instead of washing powder

✓ Ensure that you dose the right amount of detergent relative to the amount of clothes

✓ Wash clothes inside out
